If children under 18 qualify for free tickets, why am I required to purchase a ticket for my child?
While children may enter for free, they are required to stand in the general entrance line if they do so. In order to save time and expedite the tour, we purchase regular tickets so they may enter as quickly as possible.
Do we have to buy tickets on-site?
For this tour, your Colosseum tickets are pre-purchased, which allows you to go directly to the security line where you will have your pre-purchased ticket scanned.
I have purchased the Roma Pass, can I use it on my Context tours?
You cannot use the Roma Pass on your Context tours. Roma Pass holders have to wait in a long line for the non-reserved public entrance to the Colosseum. In order to save time and expedite the tour, we purchase regular tickets so you may enter as quickly as possible.

Cecelia was an absolute gem of a tour guide! Her deep knowledge transformed our 3-hour Colosseum and Forum tour into a fascinating journey through ancient Rome. She has a remarkable gift for bringing history to life, sharing stories and details that made us feel like we were witnessing the bustling streets and grand spectacles of the Empire firsthand. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly understand - not just see - these incredible monuments.

This was one of my favorite tours of the whole trip. I learned so much about the Roman Forum, and saw the sunset from Palatine Hill. Olivia went above and beyond explaining many interesting things to us. The group was small, and I really enjoyed the intimacy because it was very easy to ask questions. She said her husband is an archeologist and I think it rubs off on her, because she was able to point out details in that area. Great tour!
