Born in Naples, thanks to her mother who was passionate about art and a teacher, Simona grew up among artists, museums and art galleries. She earned a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures with a historical focus from the Istituto Universitario Orientale in Naples. In 1997 she moved to Rome: it was love at first sight and her passion is not over yet.
After a two-year postgraduate Ms in Art and Architecture for Liturgy from the Sant'Anselmo Pontifical University in Rome, she is now earning an additional master's degree in Art History and a first-level master in Art Therapy in Education.
She is a licensed tour guide and she works as an educational operator for the Vatican Museums.
She also works for the Museums of the Municipality of Rome (Capitoline Museums, Centrale Montemartini, etc.) as a tour guide in official events (G20 Summit in Rome in 2021, Rome Mayor's guests, FIFA, etc.) and as a tour guide for visually impaired people.
She is also a Nature Interpretive Guide and Walking Leader (GAE).
Member of ENAT (European Network for Accessible Tourism) and of Pantou Listed Suppliers, she is also a school teacher for students with special needs.
She has traveled the seven seas as a scuba dive master and she broadened her horizons by working as a business developer for a food multinational company for many years.
She is also a certified UNAPROL olive oil taster.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
