Francesca Caracciolo
Francesca is an art historian from Naples with a Master's degree in Management and Preservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Siena. She is a Vatican tour guide with years of experience leading tours in the extensive collections. A painter herself, she has a personal passion for the different techniques involved in creating works of art. She loves leading family tours and had also worked with kids in public schools teaching painting and ceramics.
Francesca is a formally educated authority on the Vatican's extensive collections of classic artwork, historical artifacts, and the city state's architecture. She's entertaining & engaging, answering frequent questions, making our 4-hour, once in a lifetime tour go by in a flash. Highly recommended for Michaelangelo fans!
Francesca was great! She kept a group of 5 kids of various ages entertained and moved through the museums at a great pace. Would highly recommend.
