Maria Stella Bottai
Maria Stella is an Italian art historian and teacher, Ph.D. at the Sapienza University of Rome and Helsinki University.
She teaches art history at art schools and art institutes. She is involved in outreach projects tailored to the younger generations. Among the latest, art history lessons for the national broadcasting company Rai.
Maria Stella is also very active on the contemporary art scene in Rome through her publications, and as a curator of a number of international exhibitions in the city and abroad.
It was wonderful!! Stella was fantastic. Lots of great information. And so kind to the children. And she responded to the group.
Stella did a great job of showing us important highlights and engaging the kids on the tour. She also remembered when the adults mentioned various interests and professions and pointed out relevant items later in the tour. She did a good job of navigating the crowds and finding quiet spots too.
She was fantastic, she catered to our family's pace. She was very knowledgeable and provided lots of historical information.
