Michele is originally from Southern Italy, but he moved to Rome when he was 20 years old to study Art History at the La Sapienza University. In 2006, he started leading tactile tours for the blind and visually-impaired and, in 2007, he wrote a graduate thesis about this, titled "Looking with the hands." Seventeen years later, he still loves giving tactile tours, since these tours have taught him how to look at things deeply and engage all the senses. Michele started working as a tour guide in 2011, and it still feels like a privilege for him to be able to share the city he's chosen to live in with people from all over the world. He also loves dancing 5Rhythms, meditation, free diving, ashtanga yoga, chocolate, vegan food, traveling the world, meeting new people and sharing our stories, and many, many other things.
