Biba has lived in London all her life and always been fascinated and excited by its history and culture. She graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in History, specialising in Early Modern England, with supplementary Art History modules, and is currently working as a freelance researcher. Biba’s focus is primarily social history, and she believes strongly in the power of connecting the past with physical place and space in order to understand ‘lived’ history. Biba gave tours both in Oxford and in the Cotswolds before returning to London to tour here. In her spare time Biba volunteers at the archive at the Society of Antiquaries of London and with a charity helping with literacy for young children, as well as tutoring in Art History and History.
