Your tour begins at Cefalù’s crowning jewel, the Norman Cathedral. This 12th-century masterpiece, included since 2015 in the UNESCO World Heritage, blends remarkably Norman, Byzantine, and Arabic influences.

Your guide will share the fascinating history of the foundation, which according to a legend, wants the cathedral to be built as a sign of gratitude after King Roger II survived a violent storm at sea. You will marvel at the exquisite mosaics and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the cloister with its intricately decorated columns.

As you continue, you’ll explore Cefalù’s medieval center, with its charming network of cobblestone streets and picturesque buildings. The final stop is the Mandralisca Museum, which houses rare archaeological artifacts and extraordinary works of art. Among its treasures is Antonello da Messina’s Portrait of an Unknown Man, a masterpiece famed for its enigmatic expression.
