Thierry's love for History was sparked by his Corsican grandfather, a war Veteran and Knight of the Legion of Honour. As early as elementary school, History was his favourite subject! His purpose is to share his passion in a way that is entertaining and easy to understand. Having spent 16 years in the US and the UK gave him the hindsight to approach historical events with different perspectives, along with a knowledge drawn from years of attending history talks, courses, tours and reading hundreds of books. Thierry's favourite period is the late 1700’s: the French Revolution, Napoleon, and the U.S. Founding Fathers. Times when a few brave men, moved by their conviction in a greater cause, changed the course of history.
