This group was larger as we had our friends with us and Raquel did an amazing job of engaging the kids by having a toy scavenger hunt for them throughout the market. She also utilized her iPad to show finished dishes from items we tasted. It might be nice to include recipes you can share with participants afterwards. She seemed to navigate the market well, including the vendors we visited plus helped with negotiating pricing. The only thing I would point out, is if memory serves correct, the write up for this tour says you won’t be hungry after the tour. That wasn’t the case with us. The market is much more than just food (flowers, pets, games, candies, etc,) and that is what Raquel showed us. The information and depth of knowledge shared was very good, but our suggestion for improvement in Raquel’s info is that she had to make a concerted effort to speak up better and to take occasions gathering us together to give information to all. She is a very nice person.

She went above and beyond to make our walk meaningful and educational. The only issue was we got hungry and had trouble finding a restaurant. This was our own fault mostly because of diet restrictions. She made a great effort to accommodate us!
