Madelein brings a decade's worth of experience in teaching and performance to her tours. She was born and raised in Rochester NY (so far upstate that it's basically Canada) and she graduated cum laude from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in Theater Arts and Creative Writing in 2012. Madelein also completed a study abroad program in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, Japan where she learned Japanese language and culture. After that, Madelein spent a few years teaching drama and public speaking classes to adults with developmental disabilities and children aged 4-10. In 2018, Madelein moved to NYC to further her performance career and experience the excitement of the big city. She enjoys exploring New York and learning it's rich and often surprising history. When she is not giving tours, she travels the country working as a comedian and speaker.
