Ed is a true Parisian with American roots. A tireless traveler, he spent time in Bolivia and in South Africa before coming back to Paris, where he has been living for the past ten years. Wanting to share his passion for the treasures his city holds, he decided to become a guide. Ed holds a Master of Arts in history from the Sorbonne University, as well as a national tour guide degree from the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts in Paris, and took a wide variety of art history classes at the Ecole du Louvre. He specialized in 18th century French colonial history, but he is also passionate about ancient civilizations. As far as painting goes, he is very taken by the Dutch and Flemish artists of the Golden Age period. Ed loves theater, literature and chocolate.
