Diogo is a 25-year-old Portuguese Biotechnology PhD student at Osaka University. His passion for science and research led him to pursue a career in the field of Bioengineering/Biotechnology, where he is currently working on novel diagnostic methods. Outside of his academic pursuits, he enjoys playing soccer, cooking, DJing, and making music, which he releases on platforms like Spotify. Diogo has been living in Japan for the last two years. Due to his hobbies and Japanese language proficiency, he has been able to see a different side of Japan than most people get to experience. He is familiar with Japanese social cues and etiquette, history, religion, and traditional types of food. He's excited to show you what it feels like to live in Japan!
