About Christopher

Christopher is a classical archaeologist and art historian, who graduated with an MSt in Classical Archaeology from Corpus Christi College, Oxford following undergraduate studies at University College, London. Christopher specializes in the art and archaeology of the Roman imperial period and classical Greece. Although born, bred and educated in London, he remains connected to Scotland, where he has been an elected Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland since 2014. He is interested in the study of empire and imperialism in the ancient world, a field enriched by the Roman sites which London and the UK have to offer. He has extensive experience working with a number of internationally important UK collections, including the British Museum, and currently works for the University of Oxford Gardens, Libraries and Museums group. Christopher is also an archaeological photographer whose photography has been published in a number of journals.
