Anna received her PhD in 2006 from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. A specialist in Medieval art, she has published and presented numerous conference papers on illuminated manuscripts. She is preparing a book proposal based on her dissertation about representations of miraculous images of the Virgin Mary. She currently teaches at the American University of Paris, and is France Director of the International Medieval Society in Paris.
