Trained as an artist and as a museum/gallery professional, Alison is originally from the west coast of Ireland but has made Paris her home for the past seven years. She holds a Master's Degree in Cultural Policy and an Undergraduate Degree in Fine Art with an emphasis on painting. She is passionate about mediating arts practice to the public and believes in the transformative power of guided museum experiences as avenues to lifelong learning. This passion has led her to work into various roles in her career including holding internship positions in The Guggenheim Museum, New York and the Irish Museum of Modern Arts' education departments, producing touring and group exhibitions in Europe, Russia and America and managing a gallery and public event program for Parson Paris; a campus of The New School based in the first arrondissement of Paris. Since the birth of her daughter in 2018 Alison has become interested mediating arts and cultural experiences for families and younger audiences. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for art and for her adopted home city of Paris.
