Agi started to work as a guide immediately after receiving her B.A. from the Business School 30 years ago. After the democratic changes in Hungary post-Communism, when there was a revival of Jewish life, she also started to lead walks focused on the Jewish Quarter of Budapest. She subsequently went to live and study in Israel for a year. Upon coming home to Budapest, she completed her M.A. at the Jewish University of Budapest. In recent years, Agi mainly leads walks for American Jewish communities and rabbis, or as part of missions of the American Jewish Federation. She loves her city but she is also very critical of it, and attempts to draw visitors into how controversial Budapest is - with her beautiful buildings and tragic history.
