Along with your local expert guide, you'll visit the Renaissance-style Duomo and city center, tasting various local pecorinos at small boutique food shops.
Next, you will quench your thirst in Montalcino, a world-renowned wine town. You'll enjoy a light lunch at a traditional enoteca, where local cheeses, salami, and wines await. The entire experience was excellent. Our driver, Stefano, arrived early and was took us quickly and safely in comfort to meet Stella. Stella was a wealth of knowledge. She answered all of our questions and provided a special insight to each stop. Her choice of wineries was excellent. The first winery provided an excellent lunch in addition to offering us samples of their wines. We were impressed by the presentations at both locations. We would gladly recommend Context Travel to others. We had read some of the online reviews about Stella so we were very glad that she would be our docent.
