We had such a great day trip to the Oracle of Delphi with Elias! He was very knowledgeable about the Oracle, the history, culture, art, politics, and religion at the time. His stories helped put context to the beautiful ruins and the artifacts. Elias was an entertaining and personable guide. It was also fantastic to have the trip there and back to talk with him about the history and culture of modern Greece, too. Definitely recommended!
We had an absolutely magical trip to the acropolis! Effie really brought the history to life with stories of the people, culture, clothing, language, religion, and the Ancient Greek gods. I particularly appreciated how she put the history in context of what was going on in the ancient world at that time. We definitely got far more out of our visit with Effie than we ever would have going alone. The acropolis is stunning and the Parthenon in person is beyond what pictures can show. Our afternoon was an educational and visual delight!
Popi was a great tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed her explanations and stories. She led us through the best parts of the museum and we could just not be happier with the visit.
