Maria was incredible - we were so excited to spend time with her, an accomplished sommelier and chef! Her extensive knowledge of wine, the Douro Valley, Porto, and Portugal was both entertaining and impressive, making the experience unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting at Quinta do Cume, the exquisite lunch at Portal, and the delightful port tasting at Symington. Our driver Hugo was a delight—smart, safe, and a pleasure to spend the day with. We have been extremely impressed with the quality of the people hired by Context Travel! Lindsey is a true historian, she loves her work, she knows her work and makes detailed medieval church history comprehensible and interesting. She is absolutely excellent and could teach a college course on Chartres Cathedral at any university. We wish the tour had been longer!
