Over twenty years of conversations

Conversations, not scripts

“Our morning with Rafael was the quintessential Context experience - and why we keep coming back. We saw a part of Tokyo we would never have experienced on our own, but more importantly we left with a deeper understanding of Tokyo, why it’s developed the way it has, and how its citizens actually live their lives. So much more valuable (and interesting) than simply seeing the sights.”

“William literally writes the book(s) on the D-Day memorials which led to an incredibly informative day tour. From age 77 to 11, we were all captivated by his knowledge and his ability to connect the dots.”

“Fantastic way to learn or refresh your understanding of key aspects of the history of Britain... One of the great things about a Context private tour is your guide. You can tailor your experience to your group's individual interests. This was our third Context tour. We are 3 for 3 in terms of top shelf guides, each very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommended!"

Diego was a wonderful tour guide; he was enthusiastic, friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. Luckily it was a private tour so Diego catered to my interests and more importantly access to bathrooms along the travel route since I was struggling with a bout of GI distress which required several bathroom stops along the way. Diego is clearly passionate about architecture as a whole and even more so about the abundant, unique architecture so brilliantly showcased in CDMX. Diego patiently answered all of my questions and eagerly discussed his own passion projects at the end of the tour. I highly recommend Diego and this special tour.
Rosalba was a wonderful and informed tour guide of the fascinating Casa Azul and the surrounding vibrant neighborhood of Coyoacan. The tour of the museum was very interesting and thorough. Navigating the crowd in the tight spaces of the house/musuem was a bit challenging but Rosalba was able to efficiently and seamlessly guide me through it while quietly explaining the significance of each exhibit. Because I am unable to read or speak Spanish, Rosalba interpreted several of Ms. Kahlo's writings and other Spanish documents for me. The museum is about the childhood and history of Ms. Kahlo and not an exhibit of her artwork.
Eric was amazing! He did an awesome job at walking us through the sites and even showed us some extras. Highly recommend booking a tour with him.
