The Gothic tour with Cornel was as described and more. We started with a meet and greet and hit it off right away. It was our first full day and a perfect tour and guide to get acquainted with Barcelona. The pace was perfect for my wife and i (both in our early 60's). Cornel's knowledge and explanations are a reflection of his vocation as a university professor. There were several bits of information that we were able to carry with us later on our trip. Especially the story of St. George and the day of books and roses (Catalonian Valentines Day). Cornell took time to explain to us the architecture and history of the buildings we passed by on our tour. Would highly recomment Cornell for your introduction to Barcelona. Well worth it.
Jason knows Berlin and its history as well as any college professor, maybe better. He is a wonderful ambassador, host, and tour guide, putting his all into the job. Raised in the US, has lived in Europe for decades, mostly in Germany. As such, he has a unique perspective on German history and culture. We were a small group and peppered him with questions for hours; the breadth of his knowledge is impressive. He has detailed information on German art, architecture, food, culture, life in Berlin during WWII, post-war life in both East and West Berlin and more. Equally important, he is pleasant to be around, helpful, and generous with his time. It’s wonderful to spend the day with someone who enjoys his job and the people he meets.
