Southeast Asia Private and Small Group Tours

Southeast Asia Private and Small Group Walking Tours

Known in the 19th century as the East Indies, Southeast Asia is recognized for its sprawling mix of ethnicities, cultures, languages, religions, and tropical landscapes
Southeast Asia is defined by two zones: its mainland countries, made up of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and West Malaysia) and its maritime islands, which include East Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei, and East Timor.

As a tropical region, Southeast Asia is famous for its golden beaches, dense jungles, and spewing volcanoes. Bordered by the Pacific and Indian Oceans, it has historically been a site for commerce, drawing traders from near and far. As you travel, you’ll feel a jolt from the bustling, chaotic energy that comes from the hugely diverse range of people that live there.

Alice was phenomenal! She was so passionate about her city, the food, and the history. This was so much more than just a food tour, it was an opportunity to understand the history of Singapore through food. I can’t recommend Alice highly enough!
EXPLORING SINGAPORE ONE STEP, ONE DISH AT A TIME From Hawker stalls to a Michelin-starred ice cream shop Aldric deftly introduced our palettes to the cuisine of the country through its Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Euro eateries while illustrating along the walk how these groups have intertwined to make Singapore the world-class city it is today. Good food, good conversations--the makings of a great tour! Karyn and Vince from Canada
Alice was exceptional. She explained the five pillars of Chinese cuisine and we sampled foods from each pillar. The food we had was very tasty and we had plenty. Alice also explained the cultural changes underway in Singapore as it relates to food. She was charming and fun loving. We highly recommend Alice for a wonderful food tours.
