I had forgotten how excellent a tour guide would be since Covid. Valentina was such a great hostess. She was thoughtful and kind in an elegant and easygoing manner. We were a group of five, all well read, all worldly, with one amateur historian, and Valentina struck all the right notes. She provided the broad strokes of history and art, and then progressed to some great detail on a specific topic, like when we went to a small chapel built by merchants near the Fountain of Shame how the mercantile guild formed helped capitalize their business, ensure passage of ownership. The chapel showed their wealth and power Dutch merchants of the same era. Countless interesting stories with nice delve into detail and dataPoints (the end of the Norman rule, the Arabesque influence on the Normans an why). Simply an exquisite guide and why I choose Context travel. Great job Valentina!
