Stefan (pronounced 'Stare-fun') is a born and bred Singaporean with lived experiences in Norway and Australia. He recently completed his PhD in Design at the Queensland University of Technology, with the simplified title of 'Tuning-in' to music to 'tune out' on-the-go. In fact, his research was sparked by personal connection and empathy with those who suffer from the daily drone of noisy and stressful public commutes to and fro work. Stefan is drawn towards how spatial and sustainable design of concert halls, buildings and public spaces can enhance one's wellbeing through their senses and interactions within these environments.
