Ryan has been studying the Arts for most of his life, with a strong concentration on Modern and Contemporary Architecture. He has written on the subjects of Architecture and Design for print and other publications, and is currently completing a book on suburban residential design. He has worked and guided tours at many of New York's great cultural institutions, including the Whitney Museum, the Cooper-Hewitt, South Street Seaport, the Transit Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, the Metropolitan Museum, Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center, One World Observatory, and even the Bronx Zoo. Having lived here longer than anywhere else, he has a great passion for the history and evolution of the city he now calls home.
