Our guide was great. Went very well. The car would have been too tight for 8 people (which is what we booked). We were lucky one person cancelled at the last minute.
This was an amazing tour! We loved our guide Roberto and the lovely lunch at the farmhouse winery. The entire tour was fantastic! I’d recommend to anyone who wants to see Mount Etna in a unique way.
Roberto’s passion, understanding and knowledge of Mt Etna was wonderful, full of insight, and a synthesis of the many dimensions of Etna including history, economics, biology, myth and more, and included comparisons to other volcanoes, present and past. His enthusiasm and the variety of experiences he provided us will remain with us for a long time to come and opened within us a strong curiosity. He explained with detail and examples, and he connected ideas to build a strong foundation of appreciation of Etna and its place, yesterday and today. We were fortunate to have Roberto as our expert guide! Thank you!
