Originally from Abruzzo, Patrizia moved to Florence to study for her degree in English Literature. After graduating, she traveled and eventually lived and worked in Australia for several years training chefs and organizing events. She then returned to her Italian roots and has since made her home in Florence. Patrizia has been influenced by many generations of family chefs who were passionate “foodies.” She has spent her life continuing that tradition working as an event planner, a food consultant for restaurant developments in and outside of Italy, and as a university instructor for study abroad programs. Using her sommelier certificate, she also leads tours in vineyards located in the world renowned Chianti region.
