With a background in acting, painting, tourism and education, Natalie grew up in the county of Kent before moving to London, first to attend the Chelsea College of Art for one year and subsequently changing career direction to take a degree course in Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Almost by natural progression Natalie became a guide. William Shakespeare wrote that "All the world's a stage" and it is this love of stories and a taste for adventure that makes her want to introduce you to the characters and places that bring the history of London to life. She has a passion for fine art galleries, where every picture truly has a story waiting to be told, but is equally happy guiding coach parties, individuals, school children and incentive groups. In 2009 on completion of the Blue Badge training course she received the award for 'Best Overall Practical Examinations' from the Association of Professional Tourist Guides. She is also a qualified 'English As A Foreign Language' teacher and taught poetry and performance for several years prior to becoming a guide. Having travelled widely she has gained an understanding of the different customs and cultures from around the world, making her adaptable but also always striving to be both informative and entertaining as a guide.
