Monica Grieco
Monica Grieco was born in Napoli (Italy) and completed advanced studies in an experimental school for the education of tour leaders and tour guides. She received her professional guiding licence in 1996. Since then, she has never stopped guiding around her favorite city. Her lost loved places to guide are the ruins of Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Flegrean Fields...and, of course, the jewelrey box of the National Archeological Museum of Napoli (MANN). Monica is also deeply passionate about Napoli's food culture and history.
Despite the rain and cold Monica gave us the full experience, remained cheerful, professional and positive during the day. We got to experience Neapolitan pizza at the restaurant that she took us to for lunch.
This was an excellent tour and Monica was an outstanding guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the site and the history of Pompeii. I have known about Pompeii my entire life and have watched several documentaries on it but I realized today that I only knew a small fraction of the history. I would highly recommend this tour and Monica!!!
