Marjorie is a Dutch Italophile, passionate about art, history, language and culture. After completing a Bachelor's Degree in Italian Language and Literature and a Master's Degree in Art History at the University of Leiden, she worked as a national guide in the Netherlands and as a tour guide in Italy. She lived abroad for 11 years, in Mexico and in the USA, where she worked as a Curator of Education in different art museums in Texas. Ever since returning to the Netherlands she has been working as a freelance art educator, guide and tourleader in both the Netherlands and Italy. She loves to share her knowledge of and passion for Amsterdam, preferably topped off by a visit to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, which she calls 'an extension' of her living room!
