Marili was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She has always been fascinated by the rich information that was preserved around people of the past, so she decided to study History and Archeology at Aristotle University. Through her excavating experience above ground and underwater, she learned what the research process is truly like. She is a PADI certified diver, and she tries to combine her love of archeology with diving. Her love of art led her to the University of the Aegean, where she received a Master's Degree in Museum Studies. She decided to become a tour guide due to a deep need to communicate and share her knowledge. She loves traveling the world and meeting people from every corner of the Earth. She feels extremely lucky to be doing a job she loves and conveying the beauties of her country through the eyes of a local.
