Marijn studied History and Heritage & Memory Studies at the University of Amsterdam. This led him to work at the National Holocaust Museum, under the umbrella of the Jewish Cultural Quarters. Currently, Marijn is researching archival audiovisual footage for a variety of projects, including historical documentaries.
Thoughout his personal life and studies, Marijn has shown a keen interest in uncovering how history is presented. This has resulted in an extensive interest in both tangible and intangible heritage, and a focus on how history is currently exhibited and mingled within the Amsterdam citycenter.
