Maica, an enthusiast Barcelonian. Daughter of a painter and sister of a passionate architect who taught her to appreciate arts. After her English University studies, she moved to Scotland where she worked as a tour guide. Seven years later, back at home, she taught Spanish to foreigners with her own methodology: using the street as a classroom with storytelling techniques (she was also a storyteller for children and adults). It was by doing so how she became a licensed tour guide in 2005, her passion. As a language teacher, storyteller and tour guide, she is used to dealing with all kinds of people and her explanations are very dynamic, instructive and a pleasure to the ears. She is eager to share her knowledge about Barcelona, culture, history, art and the Mediterranean way of life always with respect towards sustainable and responsible tourism.
