Karen Nilson
Karen was born in Italy to a North American father and an Italian mother. After obtaining her degree in Political Science, she moved to Liguria, where she became a licensed tour guide in 2006. She works mostly in the area of the Cinque Terre, leading groups and individuals as they discover the soul of this special region. She also gives lectures and talks about the history of the region. She is vice president of a cooperative of tour guides.
Karen was a wonderful guide for our trip to Cinque Terre. She is so knowledge and friendly. We had a private tour so we were able to make some modifications to our plan. Her suggestions were outstanding and every step of the way she was thoughtful and helpful. We had a great day and would recommend this tour and Karen to anyone wanting to see the wonder of Cinque Terre.
