Jennifer is an American expat from upstate New York, who has been living in Bordeaux for over 10 years. She fell in love with this beautiful city, where stunning architecture harmonizing with the "joie de vivre" of its inhabitants, and chose to make it home. She holds a Masters Degree in Education, and has always had a love of traveling and history. She has passed the WSET (Wine & Spirite Education Trust) level 3 (with Merit) to increase her knowledge in wine, and is an experienced local and regional tour guide, who loves to share her passion for her adopted city and the surrounding region.
Outstanding in every way! Jennifer lead us on the perfect path to discover the mostbeautiful streets(large and tiny), the most beautiful buildings. I was especially interested in seeing and leaning more about 18thand early 19th century architecture, and bordeaux in general. She was a font of knowledge delivered in a vivid and fun way. She’s engaging and flexible and clearly tailors her tours to the interests at hand. And there’s more! She loves wine, is super knowledgable about it, and we ended the tour tasting yummy bordeauxs! A+ !!!!!
Jennifer is a knowledgeable, gifted and experienced guide in Bordeaux. Her walk with us through the city is one of the highlights of two-week trip to various wine regions and their culture. Leading us from one quarter of the city to another, pointing out characteristics, architecture and special vistas while teaching us the history of Bordeaux made for a wonderful day. Jennifer quickly got our vibe as visitors and tailored our tour to those interests, keeping the conversation lively and engaged. We highly recommend this tour and Jennifer, and would book with her again on a return trip to Bordeaux.
Jennifer was excellent.
