Born in the US, Jeanne has spent the last 30 years in France. Her work as a tour leader in France brought her to all parts of the country but, enchanted by the Mediterranean lifestyle, she chose to settle in Nice. From leading tours, Jeanne moved into writing guidebooks. She has authored numerous books on European destinations for Lonely Planet, Frommer's and Insight guides. Her latest book, Nice Uncovered: Walks Through the Secret Heart of a Historic City, is a fun and detailed exploration of the history, culture, art, and architecture of her adopted city.
