Ilaria was raised in a family of artists, amongst brushes, colors and museums which, unsurprisingly, elicited a passion for the arts, history and particularly archaeology in her. She earned a Master’s Degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage (Palermo Faculty of Humanities in Agrigento) and a Master’s Degree in Tourism Economics and Management (Palermo Faculty of Economics).
Ilaria also worked as an assistant archaeologist on the Cignana site in Agrigento, and her love for the wonders of her land led her to take a Diploma of nature guide for the region of Agrigento, as well as a tour guide license for the entire island, a great combination to promote the historic, naturalistic and archaeological heritage of Sicily as a whole and Agrigento in particular.
