Hila was born in Jerusalem and raised in a small village in the Jordan Valley​.​ She served in the IDF in the Samaria area and afterward, pursued her degree in communication in the north of the Negev. Her natural appreciation for her country led her to pursue the tour guide qualification, integrating her previous studies of history, religion and culture into something that she could share with visitors to Israel. She lives in the city of Modlin, with Jerusalem being her area of specialty.
