Excellent walk - very flexible, informative and adapted to the ages of our children and our needs. Would highly recommend Jovanna and wish her a speedy recovery of her arm!
The tour with Giovanna was a highlight of our trip. She gave our 7 year old daughter a compass for the day to help guide us through the city and empowered her to lead us through Venice. Hunting the lions was an engaging way to learn about the amazing city and its stories. Giovanna timed the tour so we could see the amazing clock in St Mark's Square chime on the hour (which our daughter enjoyed so much she requested a return visit the following day). The tour was active and fun and empowering for our whole family.
It was a great introduction to Venice. The kids loved the Lion Hunt part of it, but I think were a little old for it (11 and 12) . I thought in retrospect that it would have been nice to have included the Doge's Palace which I think we could have had time for. The docent was very good and incorporated a lot of history which was very interesting.
