Giovanna is an active archaeologist. She has been working in one of the main Eastern Turkey sites for a long time. During her PhD in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, she spent a good deal of time in Mexico, where she further developed her international research network. She is the author of several publications in scientific journals and volume chapters, and she has participated in numerous international conferences. She has held seminars and lectures for universities and research institutes in different countries. At some point, she moved to Florence, and she fell in love with it. She studied art history, and she got her tour guide license in Tuscany, an incredibly inspiring territory, which allows her to do what she always loved: studying and discovering! Her humanistic background and previous experience influenced Giovanna’s way of leading tours. She conducts tours with the same positive energy, passion, and knowledge that she has in the archaeological excavation!
