Born and raised in London, Fred currently splits his time between the capital and Oxford, where he is finishing a doctoral programme. Fred’s subject specialism is medieval literature and art history, although growing up and living in two historic cities has fostered a wider interest in their long stories and many secrets.

Aside from the demands of his thesis and tour guiding for Context, Fred spends his time climbing and printmaking.
