Francesca is a native Neapolitan and art historian with a degree in art history from the Federico II University in Naples. She attended the 3 year postgraduation Scuola di Specializzazione in Storia dell'Arte from the same University. Her specialization is Art Communication and she has been teaching Museography at the Fisciano University in Salerno for 15 years. She has been in charge for the Education Departments of some of the most relevant Neapolitan art institutions: San Carlo Opera House, Santa Chiara Museum and Cloister, Royal Palace. Passionate for her city and the entire Campania Region, she has been accompanying people around as a licensed professional tour guide for the last 30 years. Francesca is fluent in Italian, English, and French, and has a great interest in Medioeval art, Baroque art and decorative arts. Due to her extensive knowledge of the history of Naples and the Campania Region from Pompeii to Caserta and the Amalfi Coast she leads a wide variety of tailor-made itineraries. She has published a children guide book for the Royal Palace in Naples, edited the texts for two Audioguides: one for the Royal Palace in Naples and another for a castle in Aosta. She was recently chosen by the BBC4 Channel to be part of the edition of a television documentary on Pompeii "Write Around the World with Richard E. Grant". Francesca is always smiling and her positive attitude towards life is going to be shared with people getting around with her.
