About Elizabeth

Elizabeth had various careers before becoming a tourist guide. Although she enjoyed teaching modern languages in secondary schools, she decided to quit teaching after six years and 'took the Queen's shilling,' joining the Royal Air Force for five years. As a Flight Lieutenant, a common question was 'what do you fly?' She flew a desk! After the RAF, she went to theological college and then studied Applied Linguistics and then moved to Sudan for 16 years to assist the Sudanese Church in the development of minority languages. When she returned to England to support her parents, she started guiding and loves the interaction with people of all ages and nationalities.
