About Elisabeth

Elisabeth is an expert on the archaeological site of Selinunte. She has a M.A. Degree in Ethnology from the University of Georg August in Gottingen, Germany. Elisabeth has 20 years of experience as a licensed guide and as an assistant during the yearly archaeological campaigns led by the Rome Archaeological Institute. Elisabeth leads small groups of enthusiastic travelers throughout the largest Greek archaeological site of the entire Mediterranean world, as well as other places of interest in the Trapani province of Sicily. Elisabeth’s attention is never far from Selinunte's complex history and lovely landscape, and she never misses an opportunity to exchange with archaeologists and other experts who come from various parts of Europe and beyond, to study this unique site.
