Born and raised in the vibrant city of Paris into a multicultural family, Djémil’s love affair with food ignited at an early age, nurtured by traditional Northern French and Mediterranean cuisines, and the bustling local markets. This passion transformed into a lifelong commitment to exploring the world’s diverse cuisines as a gateway to understand cultures. He gained precious insights into what makes the French food culture so distinctive in Western Europe by working for 12 years for PepsiCo’s premium brands.
Djémil has implemented food sustainability projects for the City of Paris, in partnership with local retailers and restaurants, creating regenerative loops from the field to the fork, while maintaining the terroirs’ quality. When he is not writing poetry on a café terrace, Djémil enjoys building bridges between cultures for his guests.
