Born and bred in Edinburgh, Claire has always had a passion for history and literature. After studying a joint honours in English literature and Hispanic studies at Glasgow, she went on to get her masters level DipTESol and taught English as a foreign language in Madrid. She returned to Edinburgh and began her own business curating cultural immersion courses for international students. Claire loves to dig into the hidden gems of Edinburgh, and looking at the history of the city and Scotland through a different lense. Her particular interests are literature, politics, the Scottish witch hunts, food, and women's history.
