Carolina was born in Denmark and raised in Mexico City. She is a writer and an educator. In 2019, she was a finalist of the International Literary Prize "Aura Estrada" and currently she is the recipient of a one-year scholarship for a creative essay project regarding thought as an experience and the construction of symbolic meaning in the world. She has worked with the social project "Kolijke," in the state of Puebla, imparting workshops on gender violence and the retrieval of traditional cooking. She is a keen traveler, and a curious inhabitant of her home city. She is particularly interested in communicating the depth of meaning one can find in the small details of the urban landscape; how they all tell a story.
