Beate completed a Master's program in Art History at the École du Louvre, specializing in medieval iconography and decorative arts, after a Master’s degree in History from the Sorbonne and a B.A in Political and Economic Sciences from Sciences Po Paris. 

Born in Germany, she spent a decade in London before moving to Paris. She has lived in the “City of Light” for 25 years now, and loves making seemingly endless cultural discoveries.  As a licensed guide, Beate has been leading tours in and around Paris for the past ten years, enjoying sharing her passion for art and history with visitors of all ages in an engaging, entertaining but meaningful way.  

In addition to art and history she loves spending time in the Alps and cooking for friends.
