Barbara understands why countless visitors flock to the city of Mozart. Inspired by Salzburg's extraordinary history, she studied art history at the University of Salzburg. She is passionate about the how the intertwining of philosophy, literature, religion, and politics is reflected in the art of specific time periods epoch, and how that intertwining must be read and translated in modern times.

Barbara's research focuses on the iconography of graphics from the German area after 1500, and the on Austrian Baroque, which is extraordinarily showcased in Salzburg.
