Annalisa holds multiple degrees from La Sapienza in Rome and from the University of Milan, where she focused on prehistoric developments in Ancient Near East. She then conducted her PhD research at the University of Trento, where she was involved in several projects on techniques of pottery making and experimental archaeology. Annalisa has participated in various excavation campaigns in various regions of Italy, as well as abroad (Turkey and Switzerland), and she has studied the rock art engravings on the Valcamonica site in Italy, a UNESCO Heritage site. She has also collaborated with various museums, universities and non-for-profit associations. Her tours are infused with her great passion for prehistory and Sicilian history and culture.
