Andrea hails from upstate New York and received a PhD in Molecular/Cell Biology from Northwestern University. After years as a university professor in Chicago, Andrea moved to Rome for love and has never left. Her passion for art, architecture, teaching, and story-telling comes together in her guided tours in Rome. Drawing on her background in science, Andrea uses a “systemic approach” to teaching and education to weave stories about the art, politics, religion, and personalities of the artists, Popes, and other players to put art into context and transport visitors back in time.
